HE REFUSED TO COOPERATE WITH INQUIRY

- By DYLAN HAYWARD

A BUSINESS owner ended up in court after refusing to give his details to council officers investigating fly-tipped waste.

Mohammed Ahmed Ismail, owner of food retailer Euro Market, in Ward’s End, Loughborough, was prosecuted by Charnwood Borough Council.

The court heard that fly-tipped waste was reported outside flats in Devonshire Lane, behind the Granby Street car park, in October last year.

Council officers collected evidence which indicated that the waste belonged to Euro Market.
