Door still open for Winks but boss refusing to discuss row
Leicester Mercury
|April 12, 2025
THE door is open for Harry Winks to regain his place in the Leicester City squad but Ruud van Nistelrooy continues to turn down opportunities to discuss their alleged dispute.
Winks has not been in the City squad for the past two matches and it has been reported that van Nistelrooy omitted the midfielder over his long commute to training and his unwillingness to remain at the training ground overnight once a week.
Upon the story breaking, Winks posted a photo of his newborn baby to social media, speculating that was why he wanted to remain at his home near London.
Van Nistelrooy has been asked on multiple occasions about the alleged dispute but has not divulged any details.
