Banned driver doing 15mph 'was rushing to help sister'

A DISQUALIFIED driver has avoided prison after being caught doing just 15mph by police.

Nehalkumar Babu was stopped by a police patrol in Catherine Street, Belgrave, Leicester, at 4.30am on Wednesday, July 9. Babu raised concerns as he was spotted driving suspiciously slowly in a 30mph zone.

Thinking he might be either intoxicated or an unqualified driver, officers put on their siren and blue lights, although he continued for a short distance before pulling over.
