Pressure situations will help me to improve, says Brehaut

JOSH Brehaut conceded he will be a better boss at Leek Town next season having experienced the highs and the lows so far in his managerial career.
Having guided the Blues to the Northern Premier League West Division title in 2024, this year saw the club flirt with relegation before a tremendous run eased the club away from the danger zone in the Premier Division. Brehaut saw Leek take time to get to grips with their new surroundings, but he and the team rallied to finish the campaign 10 points clear of trouble.
"Being at different ends of the table, there's pressure involved in any situation," said Brehaut.
"But I guess until you've experienced different scenarios, you don't know what you don't know.
"So you're not sure if that pressure is going to be exactly the same or how it will impact the players or the supporters.
"Or external factors too when that pressure builds.
"Being in those pressure situations in the two seasons I have been at the club can only be beneficial for us and the fact we came out successfully in both of those seasons again gives us, and me, confidence."
