THIS week we were asked to help a young black cat who had been taken to Lime Trees Veterinary Hospital, Meir Park with a nasty facial injury.
She must have been involved in an RTA which resulted in an injury to one of her eyes and fractures to both top and bottom jaws. Oh my goodness.
Last Friday she had complex surgery to repair the fractures and now has 6 - 8 weeks before she will be able to use her mouth again. For the time being she is being fed through a tube and is receiving the best possible care at Lime Trees Vets. It's thought that her eye will recover. I do hope so.
