OLD Reigatian Rugby Club hosted Try-Sports’ annual South East Schools Touch Championships for the third year running - and it was bigger and better than ever.

With the sun belting down on the freshly marked out pitches for touch rugby, more than 700 players from 63 teams which included nearly 40 schools, took to Geoffrey Knight Fields in Park Lane.

There were also numerous international touch player volunteers and Harlequins club representatives in attendance as the secondary school-age players enjoyed a competitive Touch Rugby tournament.

This included a team from Dallaglio RugbyWorks, a charity that uses rugby's core values to equip young people that are excluded from education.

It was an inclusive competition featuring categories for girls, boys, and mixed teams across two age groups (Year 7/8 and Year 9/10) and provided a fun, supportive environment for everyone to develop and thrive.
