THE closure of local NHS services reported over the last month are deeply concerning.

- Chris Coghlan, Liberal Democrat MP for Dorking and Horley

NHS service closures are concerning

I recently spoke to BBC Radio Surrey discussing the news that specialist dental services at East Surrey Hospital may be under threat.

This would be a serious loss, especially with some patients already facing waits of up to 80 weeks for hospital-based extractions under general anaesthetic. I have written to the NHS Trust CEO asking for clarification, though a response has not yet been received.
