Eight arrested after man is found in 'kidnap' probe

EIGHT people were arrested on suspicion of kidnap after reports a man was bundled into a car by masked men in Dorking.

Surrey Police confirmed a man in his 30s, from the town, who went missing on Saturday, was later safely found by the force.

Police said they received a report of a concern for safety after alarming video footage appeared to show a man being forcibly placed into a dark-coloured car by two men wearing balaclavas in the Rough Rew area.

The force said the incident was being treated “as a priority investigation” and, as the man remained missing, a dedicated investigation team was relentlessly pursuing all possible enquiries with support from specialist officers.
