Tribute to homeless man with a heart of gold who has died

Tributes have been paid to a homeless man who was regularly seen around Preston Docks.

Carl Mason has died aged 43. Born and raised in Ingol his death has seen floral tributes left near Morrisons at the Docks and hundreds of people leave comments and tributes online about whenever they had spoken to him as they finished their shopping at the store.
Nichola Mason, his sister, thanked the public for their kindness and generosity towards Carl.
