Supporters have helped Magpies stars to flourish

Andy Preece said the exceptional support he and his players have received from Chorley fans has contributed to their success in reaching the play-off semi-finals in the season just ended.

Their National League North campaign ultimately ended in disappointment with a last-four exit at Scunthorpe on Saturday, a game in which Kole Hall scored twice for Preece's men.

But the Victory Park boss said that without the attitude of the club's fans, players like Hall might not have been given space to develop and thrive at the club.

"I can't thank the fans enough, to fill that area there (at Scunthorpe), over five hundred fans, it's incredible support," he told Chorley FC TV.
