A new look tram for the SpudBros is hoped to be in operation before Christmas.

The jacket potato duo won planning permission in early July for their new shopping-container design after being called before Preston City Council’s planning committee to explain their concept.

After surviving a potato-pun ladened grilling from councillors they received full backing and have been working with their contractors on the new still portable tram design.
