Playground Proms returns to Lancashire bringing classical music to schools

Lancashire schoolchildren are in for a musical treat this week as Playground Proms, a nationwide initiative bringing live classical music to playgrounds, returns to the county next week as part of its biggest UK tour to date.

Founded by comedy string quartet Graffiti Classics in 2021, Playground Proms was born from a desire to keep music alive during the pandemic. Since then, it has grown rapidly, delighting nearly 50,000 children across the UK and Ireland with its blend of musical virtuosity and humour.
