Call My Agent Berlin (streaming from September 12 exclusively on Disney+)

The first iteration of the self-referential comedy Call My Agent gallivanted through celebrity culture in France in 2015, and gave birth to several international versions including a 2022 UK edition retitled Ten Percent.

A German adaptation directed by Boris Kunz, Laura Lackmann and Johann Buchholz unfolds in the aftermath of the death of Richard Stern, founder of the Stern actors' agency which represents some of the country's biggest stars.

Staff must attract new talent in record time to drag the business back from the brink of bankruptcy while keeping existing clients happy.

Famous actors and actresses including Moritz Bleibtreu, Frederick Lau, Heike Makatsch and Alicia von Rittberg arrive for meetings and are made to feel like Stern's most important clients.
