Mind your Ps and queues when waiting in line

You know where you are when you're standing in a line, waiting your turn for something.

You don’t even have to be waiting patiently — it’s perfectly acceptable to sigh repeatedly and even strike up a conversation with the person in front or behind you about how long it’s taking.

Plus they become an immediate ally should anyone do the unthinkable and try to push in.

It’s something we got used to during Covid in particular; in every town in every county, people stood and waited their turn for the privilege of going into the supermarket to spend their money.
