Hall's good for celebration of Georgian times at manor

A fun weekend of interactive history is coming to a Lancashire historic hall and its grounds this weekend.

Astley Alive returns tomorrow and Sunday with the theme this year being a celebration of Georgian times.
Visitors will have the opportunity to travel around Astley Hall, meet characters from the Georgian period and learn all about their lives.
Meet Sir Henry Philip Hoghton who lived at Astley Hall in the late Georgian period.
He will tell those attending all about his daily life and about the role of men in society at that time.
