FA publish the reasons behind Osmajic's ban

Written reasons for the nine-match ban given to Preston North End striker Milutin Osmajic have been published.

The Montenegro international was sanctioned by an independent regulatory commission earlier this month, for an aggravated breach of FA Rule E3. Osmajic was charged in March after Burnley midfielder Hannibal Mejbri made racism allegations against him, during the o-o draw at Deepdale in February.

Osmajic 'strongly refuted' those claims and in their statement after the ban was announced, PNE said they were 'extremely disappointed' by the final verdict. The Deepdale club also referenced it had been decided on 'the balance of probabilities' rather than 'beyond reasonable doubt'.
