The big story of the weekend

Preston Arts Festival has returned to the city this month for its 24th outing and there are two events to watch out for this weekend.

Taking place from Sunday, September 21 to Sunday, October 5, the festival features a variety of events across a number of venues in the city and beyond.

The festival is organised by Preston Arts Association (PAA), a self-funded not for profit organisation.

PAA's mission is to promote, support and celebrate the rich diversity of culture and creativity in contemporary and traditional art forms.
