Hard to believe that we are heading towards Christmas and another year. I may wake up on January 1st and ask, 'What happened?'

It's been a busy 12 months as I refuse to just sit in an armchair and watch the world go by. I may be 68 but I like to feel I am a young 68 with plenty left in the tank.

I have been involved with a few voluntary situations, passing on my experiences and knowledge. Sharing stories about clangers I have dropped and learnt from too.

I am also still ongoing, writing my autobiography. Completed a few chapters now and hope to get it finished before Easter.

I am under no pressure with deadlines, so it is a work of love. What to include, what to leave out are the main things and also what to avoid including in the book as we have all been involved in situations we want to remember!
