Attacking options had to be increased - Hecky

Alfie Devine with North End manager Paul Heckingbottom at Hillsborough

The Dane, now in his third campaign at Deepdale, stepped up as the matchwinner on Saturday. His precise strike from range earned the Lilywhites a 3-2 comeback win at Sheffield Wednesday to keep PNE in the playoff places after 17 matches.

In his post-match interview, Heckingbottom shared how Frokjaer's finishing in training - on the Thursday before the game - was the best he'd seen from the midfielder.

His winner at Hillsborough was another memorable moment for him, and the team, away from home.
