Burke will not rush decision on his future

Killie interim boss Chris Burke heaped praise on the players for making his job easier over a frantic few days—and admitted he'll take time to decide his next step.

The under-18 coach (below) was thrust into leading the first team after Derek McInnes left the club on Thursday ahead of the season's final game against his future employers.

The former Killie winger received a rapturous welcome from the fans but wouldn't be drawn when asked if he has ambitions to throw his name in the ring for the first team post.

He said: "That is something that I'll need to look at, to think about what is next for myself.
