President honours Indian expat for making 42 donations

An Indian expat has been recognised for his contributions to the Authority of Awgaf and Minors’ Funds Affairs in Abu Dhabi (Awgaf Abu Dhabi).

Sheikh Shakil, who has been a resident of Al Ain for nearly 21 years, was honoured by UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan alongside other contributors at the Life Endowment initiative at a ceremony, held at Qasr Al Bahr in Abu Dhabi
Despite having a modest income, Shakil made a personal commitment to support the Life Endowment campaign and contributed 42 donations in his name and on behalf of his family members.
