Police Arrest 7 Drug Peddlers In Kashmir

Continuing its firm resolve against the menace of drugs, Police on Wednesday said to have achieved a significant success by arresting seven drug peddlers in separate actions in Anantnag, Baramulla & Kulgam and recovered heroin-like/contraband substances from their possession.
In Anantnag, two drug peddlers identified as Mohammad Irfan son of Mohammad Jehangir Khan resident of Ghaziabad, UP and a lady drug peddler resident of Bawana JJ Colony, Delhi-39 were arrested in possession of 06 grams and 03 grams of heroin-like substances respectively, a police spokesman said in a statement issued to Kashmir Observer.
