Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh on Wednesday said the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has simplified education and facilitated greater access to opportunities, especially for women, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
Speaking during a ceremony to distribute free laptops to top-performing female students in his constituency, Dr Singh highlighted that the Modi government has introduced several dedicated schemes to promote education among girls. “In the last 11 years, PM Modi has actively encouraged the education of female students. In Civil Services exams, women have consistently been among the toppers. In 2014-15, 16 female students topped, and last year, two of the top three IAS exam rankers were women.
