Missing Girl Reunites With Family After 3 Years

RAMBAN: The district administration Ramban in coordination with District Police, Child Welfare Committee (CWC) and Juvenile Justice Board has successfully reunited a 14-year-old girl with her parents hailing from Chhattisgarh after tracing and verifying their details.
The girl had been found on June 22, 2022, by Police Station Ramban and handed over to CWC Ramban. She was subsequently provided care at Nariniketan Doda, Government Girls’ Shelter Home Trikuta Nagar Jammu, Nari Niketan Udhampur, and later at Parisha Ramban. Today, she was formally handed over to her extended family at CWC office Ramban in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan; Senior Superintendent of Police Ramban, Aru
