JKPCC Passes Resolution Backing Caste Census

The Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra on Thursday presided over a key meeting of senior party leaders and district presidents in Srinagar, where the party unanimously adopted a resolution lauding Rahul Gandhi’s steadfast advocacy for a nationwide caste census.
As per a statement issued to Kashmir Observer, the resolution adopted by the JKPCC stated, “Recognising the Historic Step Towards Social Justice, equitable development and participation in the country’s power structure. This house places on record its profound appreciation for the Hon'ble Leader of Opposition, Shri Rahul Gandhi ji, for his relentless and courageous advocacy for the nationwide caste census
