FCIK Calls for United Action to Uphold Peace, Seeks Protection for Kashmiris Nationwide

In a strong and impassioned response to the recent barbaric attack on tourists in Pahalgam, the Federation of Chambers of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) has called for united efforts to uphold peace and safeguard Kashmir’s centuries-old ethos of harmony and hospitality.

The condemnation came during a high-level interactive meeting convened by the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, which brought together business leaders, civil society representatives, and top administrative and police officials. The meeting was attended by Advisor to CM Nasir Aslam Wani, Additional Chief Secretary Dheeraj Gupta, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Commissioner Secretary I&C Vikramjit Singh, Secretary Tourism Yasha Mudgal, Director Tourism Kashmir Raja Yaqoob, Director I&C Khalid Majeed, and other senior officials.
