Dy CM Reviews Progress On Water Supply Projects In Nowshera

Aiming smooth water supply in Nowshera Constituency to ensure summer Season, Deputy Chief Minister, Su-rinder Kumar Choudhary, who is also the local MLA, Friday re-viewed ongoing Jal Shakti Department works besides progress on works being ex-ecuted under JJM, NABARD and UT Capex during a meeting held in this regard.

The Chief Engineer, Jal Shak-ti, apprised that there are total 51 schemes functioning in the constituency including 51 un-der Jal Jeevan Mission, 18 under NABARD and 12 schemes are under CAPEX to overcome the water crisis in Nowshera.

It was also informed in the meeting that out of 51 schemes under JJM, 11 have been completed while 7 are under process. Similarly, 75 percent of the works have been completed on the scheme under NABARD.
