Capacity Building Program On Rural Enterprise Held At SKUAST-K

The Institute of Business and Policy Research (IBPR), Faculty of Horticulture, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) in collaboration with Directorate of Horticulture Planning & Marketing, Govt of J&K, successfully concluded its one-week capacity-building programme titled "Strengthening Rural Enterprise Ecosystems through Rural Business and Service Hubs (RBSHs)" today. Held from July 28th to August 2nd, 2025, the programme brought together a diverse cohort of rural entrepreneurs, agri-preneurs, development professionals, and institutional stakeholders from across the districts.
The initiative aimed to enhance the managerial, operational, and digital capacities of stakeholders involved in Rural Business and Service Hubs (RBSHs), in line with the vision of sustainable rural enterprise development. The training enabled participants to conceptualize and design localized enterprise solutions, create digital business profiles, and explore collaborations with government schemes and market players. Accommodation and hospitality were arranged by IBPR for all outstation participants, ensuring a conducive environment for immersive learning.
