Twine ties the Owls in knots with rare header for Robins

SCOTT TWINE scored a rare headed goal to help Bristol City strengthen their playoff challenge with victory over bottom club Sheffield Wednesday at Ashton Gate.

The home side enjoyed the majority of first-half possession without creating many clear chances. And they were not helped by Wednesday keeper Murphy Cooper, who produced his best save of the half when he dived on his line to block an Emil Riis shot, with City unable to force the rebound home in a goalmouth scramble.
