Planning decision timeline 'disgrace'

AONTU leader Peadar Toibin is to lodge a complaint with the Ceann Comhairle over the Housing Minister's failure to confirm how long planning applications take.
The Meath West TD asked Housing Minister James Browne the longest wait time for a planning application to be fully processed from start to finish by An Bord Pleanala for each of the last five years.
He also asked the average wait time for a planning application to be fully processed and the number of applications that have waited longer than six months, 12 months, 18 months, 24 months and 32 months.
