LEINSTER and Glasgow put each other on the spot in a hard-fought, low-scoring encounter at Aviva Stadium last night.

It was only the second time this season the Blues had failed to post at least 20 points in URC action, the other a 10-7 win against Sharks in Durban in March.

Tommy O'Brien was adjudged man of thee match, a close run thing with Jordie Barrett and Jimmy O'Brien while there ought to be special mention for sub Jack Boyle who was noticeably superb for his half-hour.

Glasgow's Sione Tuipolutu, returning from injury and having been selected in the Lions squad, had a useful first half but was taken in at the break.
