Wearable users can upload lab results & blood biomarkers

- MARK McCADDEN

WHOOP APP A STORM..

WHOOP have launched a new initiative for Irish customers - and it’s a timely one for your Fitter Happier correspondent.

Members can now upload their lab results - either by PDF or screenshot and in any language - and see how those blood biomarkers connect to their daily WHOOP data.

It’s a huge step forward in health and fitness wearable technology and it comes just as yours truly is booked in for a long overdue trip to the GP for bloodwork.

Up to now, wearables generally track sleep, heart rate and training, but without the crucial insights that real lab results, uploaded by the user, could add to all that data.

WHOOP is the first health and fitness wearable to bridge that gap, combining lab results and continuous biometric data in one place.

And this feature has gone live for all its members in Ireland at no extra cost. So what does it mean for customers?
