Top events perfect to hop along to

SCHOOL'S out for a fortnight for the Easter holidays.

There's lots of Easter-themed family fun events around the country, and here's some of the best of them.

At Epic Museum in Dublin, a Sherlock Holmes interactive adventure is fantasy-themed family fun.

Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the EPIC Story-Break runs from April 17-22, with five tours a day. Adults are €23, children €15.

Dublin Zoo is bursting with egg-citing activities and a dino-mite experience with the Zoorassic Trail.

Expect themed keeper talks at Family Farm, shining the spotlight on resident rabbits.

Dino-mite Days Out is a prehistoric party over the bank holiday weekend with the return of Ranger Dan and all the stars of Roar Roar Dinosaur — an interactive, educational show where dinosaurs play.

There's a baby dinosaur petting zoo, fossil clay making, face painting and roaming dinos. Activities take place from April 16 to 21, 9.30am to 6pm. General admission prices apply, free for those with an annual family pass.
