Sun has set on Joanna's time with Met Eireann

FORMER weather presenter Joanna Donnelly has revealed she has left Met Eireann.

Joanna stepped down in April from presenting the weather on RTE and the Dubliner has now left her job at Met Eireann, where she started as a meteorological assistant in 1995, before being promoted to meteorologist in 2000.
Speaking to her followers on Instagram, she said: “So after what seems like a lot of drama, today was my actual official last day for my previous career, onwards and upwards.
