STUN-DER ARREST

Our exclusive pictures show a shocked-looking Kelley being led by detectives out of the house where he was residing in in the centre of Tralee yesterday.

Kelley, who is originally from Maine in the United States, and who denies any involvement in the death of Mr Gaine, was arrested by gardai shortly after 7.30am - and was taken to a station for questioning.

It is the second time he has been arrested in connection with the high-profile investigation.

MOVEMENTS

It is understood gardai arrived at his door and arrested the unsuspecting Kelley yesterday. He was led away to a Garda van and taken to a station where he can be questioned for up to 24 hours.

The arrest comes after an investigation by the Kerry Serious Crime Unit and the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation.

Detectives are understood to have collected statements from hundreds of people, collected hours of CCTV footage and worked to establish the last-known movements of Mr Gaine - who vanished from his farm in Kenmare on March 20 last year.
