Stuck in middle of ferocious divorce

Irish Daily Star

April 24, 2025

I REGRET introducing my best friend to my boss.

Their once-passionate relationship has turned sour and now I'm stuck in the middle. They're divorcing and at each other's throats.

In the early days of their relationship, they couldn't keep their hands off each other.

They'd come to my house for dinner and be groping under the table. I'd pop to the kitchen only to find them naked in my bedroom minutes later.

Now he calls me into his office and moans about her all day. He calls her greedy and unreasonable. She rings me demanding to know what he's saying about her.

I've realised they're both narcissistic, attention-seeking drama queens and I hate them equally. But I can't tell him to get stuffed because he pays my wages and she's not someone I can shake off easily.
