NECO: CLUB FORM GOOD FOR' WALES

The defender, who has made the left-back berth his own for club and country, believes he has taken his form under Nuno Espirito Santo on to the international stage.

He said: "Coming into the Wales camp, what's happened with Forest has given me confidence. And that's a massive thing in football. You never lose your ability but you can lose your confidence. That can affect a lot of people. Luckily for me, right now I have a lot of confidence."

Williams also believes the mantra that Forest boss Nuno has hammered into him is being replicated by Wales head coach Craig Bellamy.

He said: "In the Premier League we have nine games left to play. Everyone knows it is the best league in the world with the best players in the world so to be sitting there in third place feels like some achievement, but it's not over and done with.
