VIP tickets for Katie bout to cost cool $1m

THE most expensive tickets for Katie Taylor's trilogy bout with Amanda Serrano are being sold for $1million.

The Bray boxer will take on the Puerto Rican for a third time on July 11 at Madison Square Garden in New York for the undisputed super-lightweight championship.

Katie, 36, who is an Olympic gold medallist, has beaten Amanda, 36, the two occasions they faced off.

Most Valuable Promotions, which is an organiser of the bout, announced there would be four tiers of VIP packages which went on pre-sale yesterday the most expensive of which will set boxing buffs back $1m (€900k).
