'Make progress on peace deal in days or US will move on'

US efforts to seal a peace deal in Ukraine could be ditched if there is no progress in the coming days.

Donald Trump's Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, yesterday said America may be ready to “move on” if Kyiv and Moscow cannot come to an agreement.

His words came as a devastating Russian missile blitz on the city of Kharkiv killed one man and injured more than 60 people.

Peace talks in Paris between European and White House officials came to an end on Thursday.

Mr Rubio said: “We need to figure out now, within a matter of days, whether this is doable in the short term, because if it's not, then I think were just going to move on.
