Little Julia was just weeks away from her 6th birthday

THIS is the tragic little girl who gardai suspect was murdered by her own father who then took his own life.

Our pictures show Julia Daczkowska, 5, who gardai suspect was strangled to death by her father Krzysztof Daczkowski, 50. He subsequently took his own life in their family home in Heathfield Terrace, near Finglas, Co Dublin on Saturday.

Our pictures also show the child's mother Aga, who tragically came home to the horror find of her daughter dead in her bedroom.

Krzysztof, who worked as a bus driver with Bus Eireann, was found dead by the landing of the home.

The little girl was just weeks away from her sixth birthday. The child's heartbroken mother made the horrific discovery of both of them dead after returning home from a shift at work on Saturday evening.

Locals have said Krzysztof was seen showing his daughter how to cycle with stabilisers just days before.

The family are originally from Poland, but have been living and working in Ireland for many years. The child's grandmother is understood to have been staying with the family throughout the summer, and had only just returned to Poland days before the tragedy.
