KIEFFER Moore has been saluted as the agent of carnage that saw Wales escape North Macedonia with a vital point.

Sheffield United's target man played his role to perfection as Craig Bellamy's side were on the brink of late heartache in Skopje.

Moore was introduced from the bench with 13 minutes remaining and it was from his knockdown in the sixth minute of added time that David Brooks managed to find a scrappy finish to rescue the visitors in a 1-1 draw.

With the scores deadlocked, Joe Allen's calamitous backpass had been intercepted, allowing Bojan Miovski the simplest of chances to score in the first minute of added time.

Earlier, Bellamy listened to the 2,000 travelling supporters who were calling for Moore to be introduced.

And Brooks conceded that without the involvement of the 6'5" striker, Wales would have been sunk.
