John's gift for Tipp's GAA future

COOLMORE boss and billionaire businessman John Magnier has gifted Tipperary GAA a 14-acre site to develop a new training facility.
-
The 77-year-old Cork-native's donation will enable the current All-Ireland hurling champions to develop a 'state of the art' centre of excellence in four years time.
The land is adjacent to their Coolmore Morris Park base in Thurles and the proposed development will include additional sand-based pitches and leading-edge training facilities costing up to €12 million.
