THERE was a time when I thought we were lucky enough to be living in a relatively sane period of history compared to much of the madness of the past.

However with each passing day I'm beginning to wonder if we've now entered one of the most surreal and insane periods of all.

We've reached a point where a war criminal like Benjamin Netanyahu - with an international arrest warrant on his head for the genocide in Gaza - can rock up at the White House boasting about nominating a deranged figure like Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.

And all while the pair of them are still openly devising their plan to ethnically cleanse Gaza of Palestinians.
