PRAISED Aodhan Fleming and Coen Carter

Aodhan Fleming, from Lurgan, and Coen Carter, from Lisburn, recently flew to Manchester to make their onscreen debut on the famous cobbled streets of Coronation Street.

The pair will appear tonight in a special hour-long episode.

The boys got the parts in September, before travelling to Manchester to film their scenes as a pair of brothers.

Aodhan, 13 is playing a younger version of Ben Driscoll, who is played by Portadown actor Aaron McCusker. Meanwhile eight-year-old Coen is playing Aodhan’s brother.

This is not Aodhan's first role, having also been cast in How To Get To Heaven From Belfast on Netflix, which is airing in February.

Posting on social media, Pamela Cassells School of Performance, where Aodhan is a student, congratulated him saying: “We could not be more proud of PCSP student Aodhan Fleming, who will feature on Coronation Street on Monday, 8 December!
