Duff beer on the agenda as Ireland boss apologises for blunder
HEIMIR HALLGRIMSSON wants to have a pint with Stephen Bradley and Damien Duff and repair the disconnect between the League of Ireland and national team.
Shamrock Rovers boss Stephen Bradley launched a withering attack on the Ireland manager last month, blasting comments the Icelander made in December.
At the time, Hallgrimsson seemed to imply that League of Ireland players would have to move abroad to break into his team.
But yesterday, he was at pains to clarify that was not what he meant and that his door is always open for players here.
Ireland centurion and Shelbourne manager Duff (inset) has regularly lambasted the FAI and said recently that the Association was "the biggest problem child in Irish sport".
