GAFFNEY IS HOPING TU’ PAY FORMER CLUB BACK

RORY GAFFNEY is operating on a different level these days - but he hasn't forgotten his roots.

Tonight, he faces a side with a squad value over €150m, managed by a former Barcelona star, and he hopes to add a few more quid to the €5m-plus that Shamrock Rovers have banked already on this year's European run.

At the same time, he is helping his old schoolboy club Tuam Celtic raise money to complete their new full-sized astro turf pitch. He has already raised close to €6,000 of a €10,000 target by raffling his match-worn FAI Cup final jersey.
