Shearer tells Toon to get rid of Isak

ALAN Shearer wants Alexander Isak out of Newcastle now if Eddie Howe can't convince the striker his future lies on Tyneside.

The unsettled Swede was back at the Toon training ground yesterday for the first time since it emerged he wants to quit the Magpies for Liverpool.

And Toon legend Shearer feels his old club should cut their losses and let their prize asset go.

"No individual is bigger than any football club and if he doesn't want to be there, fine, get him out and say thanks very much for the memories — off you go," he said on The Rest Is Football podcast.
