EX'S CAR TRACKED BEFORE STABBING

A MAN who electronically tracked his ex-partner's car and followed her in disguise before attempting to murder her will be sentenced next year.

The defendant, Brazilian native Pedro Cifali, 37, with a former address in Blanchardstown, Dublin 15, previously pleaded guilty.

He was charged with attempting to murder Lucia Nezbalova, 43, at the front door of her Garnish Square home in Waterville, Dublin 15 on May 10, 2024.

At the Central Criminal Court yesterday, Michael Bowman SC, for Cifali, told Ms Justice Eileen Creedon his client takes full responsibility and apologises for the “devastating consequences”.
