'Dogs saved my life' after rabid cat bite

A MOTHER narrowly escaped death from rabies after being bitten by a stray cat whilst holidaying in Turkey, crediting her lifesaving discovery to her dogs who detected the lethal disease.

Chloe Kelly, 44, was bitten on the heel during a meal at the five-star La Blanche Resort in Bodrum on the final day of her week-long getaway.

The hairdresser endured excruciating pain but managed to catch her flight back to the UK, where she believes her two pet dogs played a crucial role in saving her life.
