New Lidl kitchen appliance takes time – and stress – out of cooking

- BY RACHEL BERESFORD

COOK SMART, NOT HARD

IF YOU thought your air fryer was good, wait until you hear about the latest kitchen gadget on the market.

I don't know about other Irish Daily Star readers but, for me, ever since the air fryer rose to popularity, I've barely used my oven. Which, as a complete clean freak, suits me down to the ground.

But now, I think my air fryer is also going to be taking a backseat in my kitchen!

That is because for the past month I have been trying out the latest gadget to come to the market here the Silvercrest Monsieur Cuisine Smart.

Exclusive to Lidl, this appliance is already a hit all across Europe, with over two million units sold to date.

And it's easy to see why as this product is essentially replacing a whole host of kitchen gadgets particularly handy if you have a small kitchen.

The product boasts that it steams, roasts, slow-cooks and even purees and kneads.

This seemed unfathomable to me when I first started using the product and I was sceptical that it would do what it said on the tin.

I suspected it'd be a 'Jack of all trades, master of none' situation but that wasn't the case at all.
